The ending is a great piece of direction. I've noticed artist camera work in many episodes.

OMG It's T'Pau!
Wow, this is one of the reasons I love watching old movies/tv...you never know who you'll see. The maid in the beginning is Austrian actress that played on the original Star Trek series. Nice little 'inside joke when Friday says..."she sounds Viennese to me". Also, notice that mansions were valued at $50,000.00! The radio version of this is more detailed and you hear more of the story, but this was good.

Celia Lovsky as the housekeeper
She was Mrs. Peter Lorre ... 13 years after this "Dragnet" she played the Vulcan matriarch T'Pau in the classic "Star Trek" episode "Amok Time."
